When did you start BohoMud?

​

In the beginning of 2019 I was sitting outside playing with my two boys at the time who were 2 and 4 we were making all kinds of things with play dough, we made funny faces, animals, cars and guns we made cupcakes and strawberries and all kinds of foods too. I then decided to make some plates and mugs to put them on we sat and played and then after a while I looked up and they had already moved onto the next game, I enjoyed it so much I carried on and then had a thought "what if I could make real plates and mugs?" it was an abstract thought at the time that led me to learn more about pottery for 2 years I only studied and did no practicals covid hit which helped me really focus on learning, it was only when we bought a house here in Henley end of 2020 that I was able to setup my studio launch Bohomud Ceramics and start making my own pieces. 

 

What inspires your collections and designs?

I enjoy making designs that are both functional and beautiful. I enjoy esotericism, philosophy, spirituality, nature and astrology so alot of what I love will mirror in my work. Life is beautiful, hard and mysterious and with a beating heart that feels love and pain I try and am trying to capture all that it means to me with while giving myself compassion and allowing my inner child to express herself. 

 

Do you make custom designs?

Yes in fact my custom boob mug design is the most popular, send me your ideas and we can see if I can make it happen!

 

How often do you run pottery events?

About once a month or depending on my schedule , I also can be booked privately for corporate or celebrations of all kind!
